Tiles
The tiles are inspired from the kitchen, presenting all kinds of food or cooking tools.
Gameplay
The goal of the game is to remove all tiles from the board. You can match identical tiles if there is a path with at most two turns that connects them.
If you can't see any moves you can use the Hint button up to 3 times throughout the whole game.
One hint is to scan around the edges of the layout for matches.
Time Limit
There is a time limit of 4 minutes to clear the layout. However, everytime you match a pair of identical tiles, you gain an additional two seconds.
Scoring
When pairing a couple of identical pairs, you gain 200 points. In addition, you also gain 2 seconds.
Controls
You can match two tiles by clicking on them one by one with your mouse. You will see the line that is formed between the two tiles, and then you can see if the path between the tiles has at most two turns to connect them.
Variants
Mahjong Cook is a variant of Mahjong Connect. It is assumed to be slightly easier to see matching tiles in this version.
